“As Chairman of the North East Branch for quite a stint, it has been a great pleasure to work with both our late Secretary Bill Dove and with past assistance from George Robson. Now, however, without a Secretary, I will be unable to continue with the tasks of Secretary and Chairman on my own. In the time I have devoted to the Branch, I have given my all in ensuring OSBs and guests have had as enjoyable and good humoured a time together at North East Branch events as possible. It has been an immense pleasure for me.

I would like to thank all our past attendees, and also Bill’s daughter, Amanda Dodsworth, who acted as temporary Secretary in organising last November’s excellent Branch Luncheon.

If we are able to hold any kind of future North East Branch events, I assure you that I will do my best to support them and ensure they are as successful as ever.

In conclusion I would like to thank our Society Secretary, Pam Rumney, for her invaluable assistance and Tony Reeve, who has informed us all so expertly as Editor of our Bulletin. Once again, thank you one and all.

With my best wishes, Don H Williams.”
